MLFM episode 018 - Spotlight: Cross Country Collective (C3)

It's hard to talk about Fave, Doug Fresh, and Todd Kelley. Not because I don't know...that's the problem...I do know them. We are all podcasters, we are all music lovers and I know that these cats are talented musicians from their previous work. But I'm going to try and put on an "outsider looking in" kind of hat and try and tell you why I dig their EP, "Contempojazzsoulhop".

Fave,  (keyboardist/vocalist), Doug, (guitarist), and Todd Kelley, (Drums and Sampling) has come together (via web...recording their parts and sending them from Oakland to Houston, to D.C. with one another) and produced a stellar EP that touches on many genres and in the end meshes well together.

Back in 2008 me and my queen took K.O. to try out for a semi-pro football team and once that was over we walked around downtown Chicago (one of the best cities in the WORLD!!!) We came across this bronze sculpture.
